I was born and raised in the suburbs of New York and left them for the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia in 1986. I happily settled in the Valley and raised a variety of children, goats, sheep and cows on a hobby farm. Retired from my library career in 2017 I now write books for kids looking for a good book to read. I moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in 2019.
In December 2018 I won 2nd place in the online magazine Beneath the Rainbow’s Christmas contest with the short story “Wishes Can Come True.” In 2019 my short story “To Be Or Not” was published in the British horror Anthology Hellfires Crossroads #7. A third short story “Night Marchers” is published in the anthology Beyond the Levee.
Several short stories later, I’ve been published in a variety of anthologies. My proudest moment was when my short story FIRE WALK was published in the Hawaii Writer’s Guild annual anthology “Latitudes” https://www.hawaiiwritersguild.com/litreview-third-edition.html
